The trends research institute based in Rüschlikon near Zurich is the oldest think-tank in Switzerland. Gottlieb Duttweiler himself founded it in 1962. The institute is dedicated to forging new ways of thinking. It examines megatrends and countertrends, and develops scenarios for the future.
The GDI is a place of encounter
GDI’s findings are recorded in papers and in published books, and lively discussions take place at various events. The institute invites leading thinkers and decision-makers to its conferences. And the GDI is itself an event location - it hires out rooms for business and private occasions.
