Financial contributions to organisational development
Do you already have an established activity as an organisation and want to develop it further? Then you can apply for a financial contribution from Migros Culture Percentage. We support the further development of organisations with a contribution between CHF 5,000 and CHF 30,000.
This is important:

You already have an established activity that supports social cohesion.

You want to develop your organisation as a whole. This includes, for example, new internal structures, succession planning, evaluations or strategic realignments.
Please note:

Your organisation is active in various regions in Switzerland.

Your organisation must be based in Switzerland. It is for the people of Switzerland.

You send us your application at least four months before you start your organisational development.

The funded organisational development must be completed within 18 months.

We do not support the following:
Funding of individuals
Profit-driven projects or organisations
Completed projects
Projects or organisations abroad
Projects or organisations that serve to convey ideological, undemocratic or unethical goals
Projects that only pursue an institution’s internal goals and have no social relevance
General operating costs
Physical health
Medical services, research or congresses
Sport and leisure
Formal education (including school camps)
Work integration
Non-monetary donations
Campaigns
Charity events
Fundraising campaigns
Structural measures or infrastructure
Production cost funding for publications, audio, films or apps for which no diffusion concept exists
Royalties
Technical design of IT projects
Financing of projects via third parties

General questions
Your organisation must be active throughout Switzerland or cross-regional. You already have an established activity that supports social cohesion. The organisational development must be strategically justified and strengthen the organisation in the long term.
You can submit an application. To do this, register on our application portal and fill out the form. Click here to go to the online application portal.
Your organisation is an association, a charitable foundation or another non-profit organisation.
We support the selected organisations in their organisational development with a contribution between CHF 5,000 and CHF 30,000.
This is important:
- You have clarified the most important questions for the organisational development.
- You have determined which steps you will implement and when.
- You know which people and institutions you would like to work with for the organisational development.
If your organisational development takes longer than one year, you can still use the money after one year. However, the financial contribution is only paid out once.
The funded organisational development must be completed within 18 months.
No. You only receive the financial contribution once.
Questions about applying
No. You can submit your application whenever you like. The commission will review your application at the next meeting. The meetings take place every two months.
You must submit your application at least four months in advance before you start the organisational development.
The commission, consisting of the Social affairs team, decides which projects receive financial support. The members have broad expertise in the area of society.
The commission meets six times a year. You will therefore receive a response within two to three months of submitting your application. The commission will inform you via e-mail.
You will be notified immediately via e-mail when the commission has made its decision. Has the commission decided to support your organisation? Then you will soon receive the money.
If the commission decides to support your organisational development, you will receive a positive response and the money will be paid out soon afterwards.
