Startup Academy Switzerland: Supporting young entrepreneurs

Project completed

The Swiss startup scene is growing, but many young entrepreneurs see their businesses fail in the first three years. To make sure this doesn’t happen, the Startup Academy supports start-ups for a maximum of two years.

Comprehensive support

Consultants from industry and business coach the young entrepreneurs free of charge, meeting their individual needs: from mentoring, business checks, consulting sessions with experts to an active exchange with other startups.

A Switzerland-wide offering

The Migros Pioneer Fund is making it possible for the Startup Academy to steadily launch its service at various locations. Having begun in Basel, the Startup Academy has now rolled out its activities across all of Switzerland – even in peripheral areas – and established a reputation as a relevant player in the sphere of start-up funding.

The vast majority of the start-ups supported say they have benefited hugely from the Startup Academy’s practical help and mentoring. The Migros Pioneer Fund will continue to provide funding until the end of 2021.
